Ball bearing tubes must comply with the strictest requirements in terms of microstructure, purity, manufacturing tolerances, and surface quality. Rohrwerk Maxhütte meets the high demands by using alloys, such as, e.g., 100Cr6, to produce a tube product suitable for further
processing into ball bearings of the highest quality which are subject to the high loads and stresses.

The continuously varying bandwidth of the outer diameter and the wall thickness, plus flexible delivery lengths, enable fabrication to be effected so as to precisely meet customer requirements, thereby allowing for efficient further processing. In addition, special heat
treatment during production ensures low decarburization depths and thus provides small oversizes for the machining of ball bearings.
